With the overpass in place (taking traffic from the Riverside Expressway, over the Hale Street intersection and onto Coronation Drive towards Toowong), we should notice better traffic flow through to the northern and western suburbs.
When constructed, Go Between Bridge will be a four-lane tolled cross-river connection from Coronation Drive and Hale Street in Milton to Montague Road, Merivale and Cordelia streets in South Brisbane.
The bridge is designed to increase accessibility to and from some of Brisbane’s most popular recreational, cultural, educational and residential precincts including South Bank, West End, Caxton Street and Park Road.
The final completion of the Go Between Bridge is expected to be mid 2010.
