Google Maps now with 'Street' feature

Most people have explored the planet from the sky using Google Maps, Google Earth, RP Data, whereis.com, council mapping products (such as BCC's E-Bimap), etc. These usually look down on our planet from a bird's eye view.

Google have recently introduced a change to Google maps, which enables users to walk down streets, looking at houses at eye level. This is of great benefit when you're not 100% familiar with the area.

Instead of simply looking at the house image on www.realestate.com.au, buyers can also look at the neighbourhood by going to http://maps.google.com.au/, entering the street address and selecting 'Street'.
